About Me

Dr. Shawn Michael Bullock wears many different hats, literally and figuratively. He has taught everything from secondary school physics in Toronto, to digital technology and education at Ontario Tech University, to educational philosophy at Simon Fraser University, and finally to the history of education at the University of Cambridge. His most recent academic position was Professor of Education at the University of Cambridge.

Throughout his life, he has maintained some form of creative practice, with a particular interest in cartooning, comic art, creative writing, and photography. His is currently pursuing a second PhD in Art History with a focus on travel photography in the late-nineteenth / early-twentieth century.
